    Life is full of ups and downs. As long as life goes on, both good and bad things will continue to happen to everyone. It affects you either directly, through a friend or a loved one.

    Has your friend lost a loved one? Maybe their mother, father, son, husband, wife or someone closer to them? Here are simple things to say to someone who is grieving to comfort them.

    What to say to a grieving friend

    If you are looking for a way to help a grieving friend, perhaps by comforting them, here are some compassionate words to say to a grieving friend.
